31 Days of Wisdom – Proverbs

31 Days of Wisdom

Join me on a 31 day journey through the book of Proverbs.

I will start on day 8, the 8th day of the month.  We will end on day 7, the perfect number.  If you do not start on day 8, don’t worry.  Just start on whatever calendar day it is and you can always loop back around.

Proverbs is full of wisdom.  I could use a little more of this myself as I begin my journey as a yoga instructor, and as I prepare myself for an epic adventure.

The Lord is good and kind.  He has been putting this study on my heart for a long, long time.  When I was in grade school, my father encouraged me to read one chapter of proverbs every day.  As a child I wasn’t disciplined enough to do it every day, but I’m ready now!  Let’s do this.

I hope you enjoy this journey with me!

Update: Day 15, (Actually day 7) The reason I began this Proverbs journey is because I became pregnant, something I didn’t think would ever happen. I wanted to plant the Lord’s wisdom in my heart and let it grow along with my baby.  Well, today I had to go to the emergency room because i was spotting heavier and heavier.  Within a few hours I was diagnosed with early miscarriage.

I am convinced my faith in Christ and relationship with God and the Holy Spirit carried me through the terrible news.  Did I cry?  Of course I did.  But deep down I know God has a blessing for me and my husband, and only time will tell what that is.  I know I am looking forward to it.
